About Me Profile

How did I start?

My passion for photography began in 2012 with a Samsung phone, capturing fishing shores, landmarks, macro details, and action clips of parkour and swimming. What started as curiosity quickly became an obsession with visual storytelling.
Everything shifted the following Christmas when my grandmother gave me a GoPro Hero 3+. As GoPro was making waves in the action sports world, it became the perfect tool for someone fascinated by water. That gift sparked my journey into underwater photography.
Soon after, the iPhone 6 and 6s changed the game for me. Their portable, high-quality cameras made shooting on the go effortless. At the same time, I dove into Lightroom and Photoshop, constantly experimenting and refining my style.
Connecting with Canon photographers expanded my perspective even more. Borrowing Canon 600D and 80D cameras from friends opened the door to DSLR shooting – blending professional gear with my love for adventure and storytelling.

The Turning Point

By 2014, my mindset shifted from casual experimentation to serious skill-building. Limited resources didn’t stop me I absorbed knowledge by watching tutorials, asking experienced photographers, and surrounding myself with people better than me in the field.
When I joined the National Sports Academy, I became “the guy with two cameras” one GoPro for action shots, and one Canon DSLR for everything else. Soon, I got my first personal DSLR, the Canon 7D, which I still own today.
I formed connections with athletes, stunt performers, and creatives who inspired me to push my limits.
I engaged in collaborations that shaped my career, blending sports, photography, and storytelling.
I realised that photography wasn’t just a hobby it was my path forward.

Standout Projects & Experiences

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working on exciting projects and collaborations, including with Movie Studio B2Y.
Worked on set as a stunt and commercial model, selected based on my portfolio. I also collaborated behind the scenes, contributing to shot direction, editing, and creative input alongside professional photographers / directors.
MUVMAG Street Project – a street magazines covering Parkour culture. I was involved in location scouting, movement coordination, outfit styling, and directing photoshoots. The final images, captured by a photographer I collaborated with in Switzerland, were featured in a special editorial on urban movement and architecture.
Athletamag – A street magazine exploring the connection between parkour, urban spaces, and human movement. I contributed to the “Il Parkour e l’Architettura del Volo Umano”
editorial by selecting locations, planning movement sequences, and directing the creative vision. The final images, captured by a Swiss photographer contracted by the magazine, showcased the seamless blend of architecture and athletic expression, bringing the concept to life in a visually striking way.
VSCO Bulgaria Features – Some of my photographs were recognized as Photo of the Week/Month by VSCO Bulgaria, highlighting my work on their platform. Each of these experiences helped refine my eye for composition, movement, and storytelling, allowing me to evolve as a photographer, and visual artist.
